To ensure that we make available to our customers rugs of distinction that will exceed their expectations, we travel to the major rug centers of the world, in Iran, India, Tibet, China, and Pakistan, personally working with manufacturers, designers, and weavers to create exceptional products in a multitude of sizes, weaves, colors, and designs.

What’s more, each of our carpets is in stock, ready to be shipped at short notice anywhere in the U.S. We also provide our customers rug repair, restoration, and cleaning services.
About The Owner
Rug Center USA was founded by its president, Jacob Zarnegin, who has more than 15 years of industry experience and a solid record of accomplishments as a rug dealer in the manufacturing, wholesale and retail arena.
Between 1992 and 2014, he served in several senior executive positions at Zarnegin International Rug Corp, first in New York and later in Secaucus, New Jersey. Zarnegin International Rug Corp. is a major supplier of oriental rugs to leading US retailers.
From 1991 to 1998, he also was a co-founder and co-owner of a successful rug retail company in Switzerland. In the early 1990’s, he served in a senior executive position at the Nasser Zarnegin company, one of Europe’s leading rug manufacturing and importing companies with headquarters in Switzerland and branches in Europe and the U.S.
Jacob Zarnegin has earned a master’s degree from the University of Basel and speaks several languages fluently. Prior to joining Zarnegin International in New York, he served for two years as general secretary of a key political party in Basel, Switzerland.
